

SUMMARY
Hello! My name is Isanka Diddeniya.
I am currently working as a Software Developer - Data Science at Nova Consulting in New Zealand, where I am responsible for developing and advancing R&D projects. My focus is on automating the extraction of necessary data fields from invoices and credit notes through the integration of OpenAI and Amazon AWS services. I also handle API integration and provide comprehensive testing and reporting to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the automation system. This role allows me to leverage my expertise in machine learning, data science, and software development, and our current system has achieved an impressive accuracy rate of over 95%.
Prior to this, I worked as a Software Engineer at eVision Microsystems PVT LTD in Sri Lanka, where I contributed to the research and development of projects involving AI, machine learning, and robotics.
My primary programming language is Python, and I have extensive experience using Power BI for data visualization and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. I was actively involved in custom ERP solutions and developing deep learning models for various real-time applications.
I hold an MPhil degree in Physics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, with a research focus on the development of an RGB-D sensor-based Office Assistant Robot System. My work involved robotics, computer vision, and AI technologies, utilizing ROS, Python, and various machine learning frameworks. I have published research papers and presented my findings at international conferences. Additionally, I hold a BSc (Honours) in Applied Sciences with a major in Physics. My undergraduate research project, "Preparation of a Ceramic Floor Tile Body Containing Sodium Carbonate as a Strengthening Agent", was successfully implemented at Lanka Floor Tile PLC, and it remains in use today. With strong proficiency in software development, data science, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, I am looking to further apply my skills in automation, AI, and data-driven solutions in a dynamic, innovative role.
